Estate Planning

This workshop is free, popular and informative. We compare the various methods of planning an estate: joint tenancy, wills with powers of attorney, beneficiary designations, and trust planning. We offer a three-step strategy for estate planning and estate settlement: (1) counseling oriented planning; (2) a formal maintenance and updating program; and (3) fixed and disclosed settlement costs. We discuss how attorneys charge for estate planning and, most importantly, how they charge the estate after a person dies. The estimated time for this workshop is one and a half hours.
